Leon and Ashton Greenwood competed in the Northern Athletics Indoor Championships at the EIS in Sheffield on 14th/15th Jan and both picked up a bronze medal.
Leon competed in the 60m sprint on Saturday where he reached the final but found the going tough.
On Sunday he did the 200m where he finished in a time of 23.38s, a new indoor pb.
Ashton made the final of the under 15 girls 800m where she finished in a time of 2, 28.14min.
Chesea Mitchell was the only other athlete competing in the under 20 womens shot. Going into the final round Chelsea was in third place but was pushed down to fourth by the GB heptathlete Katarina Thompson of Liverpool Hrs.
