Spenborough sent a senior men's team to Graves Park in Sheffield on Saturday, 19th October 2019, for the Northern Cross Country Relays. The team finished a creditable 32nd of the 59 teams that completed the four stages of the undulating parkland course. Henry Carter, running the fastest of the Spen runners, finished 39th on the first stage. Kevin Ogden brought the team up to 33rd place and Neil Barker improved the team's place to 29th. Craig Thompson (pictured) brought the team in on the final leg. Lincoln City won the the race.
