Looking for some Marathon prep that makes any marathon seem like a piece of cake?

Join us on Sunday 22nd March 2026, for the Spen 20. The two loop race over 20 miles from Princess Mary Athletics Stadium takes runners around the Spen Valley featuring some spectacular views.

Both starting and finishing at the Princess Mary Stadium, Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, WF15 6LW (2 miles from junction 26 M62).

PRIZES: First 10 Men, First 5 Ladies, Vets in usual 5 year age categories, Men’s and Ladies team prize (3 to count). Medals for all finishers.

We are once again incorporating the Yorkshire 20 miles Championship, with the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female runners being awarded Yorkshire County medals.
To be eligible for the Yorkshire 20 Mile Championships, All competitors MUST have been born in NORTH, SOUTH OR WEST YORKSHIRE or have nine months continuous residence in the counties prior to the date of competition.
