A Day of Personal Bests at Brighouse Park Run

23 turned out for the Brighouse Park Run at Wellholme Park and 9 of those gaining pbs. 1st was Joe Sagar and breaking the course record in a time of 16.03,followed by Henry Carter in 17.36, also a pb. Young Matthew Dalton was 5th with a pb in 18.31 - for most of the first half was in 3rd place but youth and inexperience showed at the end; but nevertheless one to watch in the very near future.
First lady back for Spen was Laura Thornton (20.42), followed by little Imogen Atkinson. Marathon star Claire Thompson had a good run and made it look easy having done Manchester the weekend prior. Lynda Robertson and Be Curley also had good runs with course pbs.
